Business Development Sales Associate

Role Summary

This role will be based in Shanghai, China and will report directly to the Head of China Sales.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Client servicing: work closely with senior sales to facilitate client relationships and account management.
  • Coordinate and partner closely with different internal departments, including, legal, compliance and operations teams to ensure seamless sales operations.
  • Support due diligence on clients and facilitate onboarding of new funds.
  • Responsible for regular reporting, sales data collection, performance attribution and meeting minutes.
  • Preparation of sales decks and presentation materials for the sales team.
  • External communication: Fundamental supporting and communication role with relevant vendors for example WeChat and PR related vendors to make business development efficiently and productively.

Education Qualification

  • University graduate, preferably in a business or finance related discipline.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a related industry.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in financial market and mutual funds.
  • High level attention of details, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Business level communication skills (spoken and written) in Mandarin and English. Ability in Chinese-English / English-Chinese translation.
  • Can-do attitude and good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
