Credit Research Analyst

Role Summary

This role will report to Head of Credit Research.

The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for providing analytical coverage of Asia Pacific and Developed Markets financial institutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertake financial and credit analysis of issuers under coverage.
  • Prepare financial spreadsheets, forecast models, comparable analyses, ESG analysis and valuation models.
  • Produce analytical summaries and investment recommendations.
  • Monitor market developments and corporate developments that may impact individual issuers’ credit profiles.
  • Assist in the analysis of macroeconomic and industry data to develop views on macro outlook and sector outlook.
  • Ability to engage with issuers across a broad set of issues including ESG/ Sustainability strategy.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, with proven academic track record.
  • CFA qualification will be a plus.

Experience and Skills

  • At least 7-12 years’ proven credit analysis experience or related experience from financial institutions or credit rating agencies.
  • High level of initiative and experience in developing and implementing investment recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin languages.
  • Detail-oriented and an excellent team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg system.
