Associate / Senior Associate, Equities Client Portfolio Manager

Role Summary

Fullerton is looking to hire a client portfolio manager for its equities platform to help grow the business.  The incumbent will be required to work closely with senior stakeholders including CIO, senior portfolio managers, sales and marketing teams and act a ‘bridge” between the investment and business development team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with client management and marketing teams to produce collaterals, commentaries, and other marketing materials.
  • Represent the equities team for new client pitches and portfolio reviews. Effectively communicate the team’s philosophy, process, portfolio positioning and performance.
  • Work with business development team on RFP’s.
  • Regularly update clients and targets with on team’s market news, views and insights. Act as an equities subject matter expert to respond to all client queries around products and positioning.

Education Qualification

  • Degree qualified, CFA preferred.

Experience and Skills

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in the asset/investment management industry, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of active equity strategies including ability to conduct performance attribution and risk analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Specifically, ability to articulate investment views in the form of commentaries, presentations etc is paramount.
  • Ability to work across teams.
