ESG Specialist

Role Summary

This role will report directly to the Head of ESG.

The selected candidate will support the ESG team in the development of Fullerton’s ESG investment policies and processes and assist with relevant ESG research for incorporation into our investment process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting and supporting the Head of ESG in:

  • Working with stakeholders to incorporate ESG principles and factors as part of the firm-wide philosophy.
  • Leveraging ESG research providers to build capacity within the investment research process.
  • Developing and maintaining ESG databases and reporting tools.
  • Conducting ESG research on portfolio companies in collaboration with investment analysts.
  • Supporting the investment team in engaging with portfolio companies on ESG issues and proxy voting.
  • Supporting the development of ESG strategies/products for both the retail and institutional clients.
  • Monitoring ESG regulations and market developments.
  • Writing ESG-related thought-leadership pieces.

Education Qualification

  • Minimally Bachelor Degree in a Business-related discipline.

Experience and Skills

  • 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in Investment and ESG Research.
  • Strong data analysis skills, proficient in Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Highly motivated in ESG investing to build enterprise value.
  • Good team player, embrace a collaborative and open working culture.
  • Willing to speak up and challenge status quo.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present in front of large audience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and timeline.
