Head of ESG

Role Summary

The Head of ESG will report to CEO and CIO and will be responsible for creating a holistic vision and philosophy for ESG and sustainable investing across Fullerton at both Corporate and Investment level.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and leading the ESG team to create a Centre of Excellence for all ESG related initiatives to support Fullerton’s ESG journey to integrate sustainable thinking in our strategies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for all ESG policies at both Corporate and Investment levels

  • Strategize and drive Fullerton’s overall sustainability framework and methodology towards ESG and integrating sustainability elements at corporate level.
  • Formulating and driving the implementation of Fullerton’s ESG policies and framework across the firm.
  • Be the ESG Ambassador across the firm and develop ongoing training agenda to build ESG awareness, expertise and culture.
  • Initiate ESG training and develop ongoing training agenda across the firm to build ESG awareness and culture.
  • Assist CIO in overseeing the implementation of ESG investment process across asset classes and assist the Investment Committee in formulation and safeguarding the investment process incorporating ESG.
  • Work across teams to promote ESG-related investment solutions to clients.
  • Support Business Development team and Investment team in engaging with (prospective) clients and in responding to client requests.
  • Contribute to Fullerton’s thought leadership program and raise Fullerton’s ESG profile in external forums (conferences, panels, industry working group).

Education Qualification

  • Degree qualified.

Experience and Skills

  • At least 15 years of financial industry experience, preferably with a minimum of 8 years of experience in ESG.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and proven records to manage and influence change.
  • Strong ability to articulate and present to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good team player, embrace a collaborative and open working culture.
  • Ability to work under pressure and timeline.
