Manager / AVP, Marketing, Communications and RFP (12 months contract)

Role Summary

This role will report directly to the Head of Marketing, Communications and RFP.

Be part of a team to steer the marketing and communications roadmap and drive integrated and innovative brand building. Provide proactive, integrated and seamless marketing and communications support to the Head of Marketing, Communications and RFP to achieve this goal.

This is role requires a strong marketing skill set – event, logistics, brand and integrated campaign management, as well as proficiency in digital marketing and social media.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Lead, coordinate and run the firm’s external in-person and virtual evets seamlessly.

  • Manage all aspects of the event planning including venue, programme, logistics and co-ordination with vendors, speakers, stakeholders to create a unique and distinctive user experience
  • Manage investment outlook, corporate events, webinars, trainings, conferences, roundtables, industry events for institutional and intermediary sales channels.

Plan and execute client-driven marketing campaigns to promote the firm and its investment capabilities.

  • Create marketing collaterals including presentations and client facing materials (brochures etc)
  • Develop content for internal and external communications, including social media channels
  • Plan and develop videos, working on content, theme, storyboard, and work with in-house designer, editing for digital content as required.

Support brand management including the rollout of internal and external campaigns and communications to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and promote visibility of the brand.

Education Qualification

  • Degree qualification preferred
  • Specialisation in Marketing, Communications, Finance or Business Management is an advantage.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimally 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a broad based, hands-on role, ideally from fund management, or financial services
  • Sound knowledge of financial concepts and investment products. Some writing on financial markets will be advantageous
  • Familiar with all aspects of the marketing mix – including brand, digital and content marketing, branded merchandise and budget management
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills are required for this role – experience in supporting and implementing marketing campaigns from is considered highly valuable
  • Experience in digital marketing, ideally with video production and editing expertise. Ability to develop digital content for webinars and social media channels
  • Experience in managing physical client events and webinars is essential, and the candidate should preferably have experience in selecting and managing vendors. Understanding and managing both digital and physical user experience is highly advantageous
  • Excellent project management and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active, with the capacity to work cooperatively and in partnership with peers
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines, with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Bilingual, with the ability to speak and write English and Chinese fluently, would be advantageous.
