Key Duties and Responsibilities
This is a 12 month contract role. The selected candidate will support the Performance Analysis team in providing investment performance reporting & analytics and assisting fund managers in analyzing sources of fund performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and support internally developed computing scripts
- Daily Valuation Check of all positions
- Daily NAVs update for Mutual Funds
- Generate regular monthly performance return and attribution reports to both internal and external parties
- Generate regular peer comparison reports and prepare data for board meeting
- Prepare performance reports for Investment, Senior Management and Board Meetings
- Provide end users with the comprehensive performance analysis services to evaluate the performance of client’s plans/funds
- Consult with fund managers and acts as the technical expert on developing new performance analysis services that provide performance measurement and performance evaluation
- Assist Sales teams and fund managers in performance data collation and analysis for their presentations and RFP to prospective clients on regular basis
Education Qualification
- A good tertiary degree in a related discipline
Experience and Skills
- One to two years of relevant working experience. Fresh graduates may be considered.
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong in Mathematics
- Preferably possesses good Programming Skills (especially in SQL, Excel Macros)
- Good understanding of Accounting concepts, with a basic understanding of Financial Instruments
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Self-starter, good initiative and excellent team player
- Ability to work in an organized manner under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills
