This role will report directly to the Head of China Sales. The incumbent will either permanently relocate or be seconded to FFMC Shanghai office for a few years.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To lead and initiate product discussions with stakeholders and coordinate actions across teams to ensure that funds are launched in a timely manner.
To review fund documentation, initiate work plan discussions and clear contentious and/or outstanding issues with supervisor(s) and stakeholders till fully resolved.
Coordinate and ensure that fund documents are reviewed by clients, internal stakeholders and filed with relevant authorities in a timely manner.
To draft product term sheets, project timeline, coordinate new fund take-on checklists and prepare meeting materials to seek the Product Committee approval; stage 1 in-principle approval to ensure that new product approval process is strictly adhered to.
To keep abreast of product trends, regulations, peers, and market research, to assess impact for Shanghai office product range and offerings.
University graduate or above, preferably in a business or finance related discipline.
Experience and Skills
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a related industry.
Hands on knowledge and experience within asset management industry, onshore and offshore financial market and asset class experience, WFOE and QDLP experience would be preferred.
A high level of attention to detail.
Business level communication skills in Mandarin and English.
Strong interpersonal skill across different internal stakeholders.
Can-do attitude and a desire to work in a team environment.
Experience in project management across different asset class.
Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
