Key Duties and Responsibilities

This role will report directly to Head of Alternatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead discussions and meetings with third party managers.
  • Source and screen private market funds and co-investment opportunities for global mandate/s.
  • Independently manage and conduct due diligence on shortlisted opportunities, preferably across private equity funds, infrastructure funds, private credit funds and co-investments.
  • Able to prepare in-depth investment memorandums, make recommendation and follow-up on deal closure.
  • Monitor performance of portfolios and prepare reports.
  • Conduct portfolio and financial modelling (including pricing secondary portfolios of limited partnership positions)
  • Lead secondary market processes, both as buyer and seller.
  • Coverage of other strategies outside of core focus may be required depending on need.
  • Conduct presentation to clients, prospects and internal management as required.

Education Qualification

  • Degree qualified in finance related subjects, eg. Accounting, Finance, BA, MBA
  • Professional qualifications eg CFA, CAIA, CPA

Experience and Skills

  • Should possess 7-10 years working experience in areas of screening, fund selection, due diligence and portfolio management.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant software tools to assist in data and statistical analysis.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, intellectually curious with passion for investing.
  • Good aptitude in quantitative analysis and statistics.
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Be a team player who is also able to work independently.
