This role will report directly to Head of Investment Operations.

This position is responsible for supporting Data Management activities and Work Processes automation activities within the firm.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and on-going implementation of data governance policy within the business
  • Support the creation and maintenance of portfolio, security, counterparty, pricing and benchmark data
  • Ensure high standards of controls, checks and an efficient validation workflow is in place for data processes
  • Involve in adhoc assignments that require data automation, analysis, reporting and definition/documentation requirements
  • Generates ideas, consultant for business workflow solutions and develop proof-of-concept automations – by gathering requirements, interviewing, studying and extracting information needs, producing user stories, understanding firmwide system and data landscape and workflows, demonstrating solutions
  • Work and collaborate with business stakeholders in User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
  • Support data stewardship activities and management of data quality, retention and uses

Education Qualification

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree

Experience and Skills

  • At least 3 - 5 years of Data Management experience within the financial industry, particularly in the static creation, maintenance of various investment instruments and investment portfolios, and understanding of financial terminology
  • Good programming knowledge, particularly in Python, Java and SQL, with at least recent 2 years working with these languages.
  • Familiar with Bloomberg data and APIs.
  • Familiar with version control, bug management, agile development and practices
  • Good knowledge of testing methodologies and practices
  • Good understanding of data management practices, including data lifecycle management, data analytics and master data management

This position is responsible for supporting our Fullerton IS Transformation Program project by providing end users application support on software like Bloomberg AIM / Gateway, SSnC Hiportfolio or Finlab Packhedge as well as in-house solutions development. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Application engineering

  • Manage trading system applications and job processes
  • Support all activities including day to day system/application administration and problem resolution
  • Application and user account administration and maintenance
  • Maintenance of application’s data feed (via Gateway), extraction, download and upload processes

System and database administration

  • Perform system and database administration and maintenance for in-house servers
  • Manage outsource vendors on system (host offsite) and database administration and maintenance matters to ensure that Fullerton’s requirements are met
  • Support business continuity readiness for key application and system processes including managing BCP site hardware setup

The successful candidate for the role of Credit Research Analyst is primarily responsible for providing support to the Fixed Income team.

The role will report directly to Head of Legal.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements, engagement letters, audit letters and other contracts in English and Chinese. You will also be given the opportunity to handle client agreements (such as fee rebates) and fund documentation.
  • Assist with the review and completion of requests for proposals as needed.
  • Work closely with external corporate secretarial services providers and provide corporate secretarial support (including the preparation of board resolutions and organising/taking minutes at board meetings) to Fullerton’s local and overseas offices.
  • Maintain Fullerton’s legal library and database and provide administrative support on the execution of documents.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Researching and rating companies on specific sectors (e.g. Industrials, Consumer, Technology)
  • Engaging with portfolio companies on ESG issues under the supervision of Head of ESG and/or portfolio managers
  • Monitoring ESG related market development and regulations
