Fullerton Experiential Learning (FUEL) Internship Programme

Shape the future of asset management with technology. The 35‑week FUEL Internship is a cross‑functional, technology‑led programme built to develop industry‑ready talent who can connect data, software, and business outcomes across divisions. Top performers may be considered for conversion into Associate roles upon graduation, based on performance and available openings.

What Makes FUEL Different

  • Cross‑Functional Rotations: Experience attachments across functions such as Technology & Transformation, Data Strategy & Management, Finance, BD/Client Management, Risk, Legal & Compliance, and more.
  • Real Projects with Real Outcomes: Take on scoped, outcome‑based projects that support business priorities — from AI‑enabled automation to analytics dashboards and reporting — and present your results to senior stakeholders.
  • Applied Learning Project (Capstone): Conclude with a cross‑divisional, technology‑led project that addresses a real‑world business problem and is co‑delivered by both of your host divisions.
  • Career‑Ready Development: Build cross-functional competencies aligned to our Associate career framework, with soft‑skills training (communication, storytelling, critical thinking, EQ, resilience, time management) via Go1.

Who Should Apply

  • Students with technology and digital competencies (e.g., software engineering, applied computing, machine learning, data) who want to apply their skills in asset management.
  • Builders who enjoy solving business problems with data, software, and automation — and communicating insights to diverse stakeholders.

Programme Structure

  • Duration: 35 weeks, with the pilot intake from 5 January to 31 August 2026,
  • Rotations: Two divisional attachments (Weeks 1–16 and Weeks 17–32), each with scoped BAU contributions and a dedicated supervisor/mentor. Mid‑point reviews at Weeks 16 and 32 with Work and Academic Supervisors.
  • Complete the Applied Learning Project (Weeks 33–35); this will be agreed in the first month; the project must use technology (data, software, or automation) to deliver a measurable business outcome. Intern(s) will deliver a final presentation to senior stakeholders.

Why It Matters

  • FUEL directly supports our digital transformation agenda and builds a ready pipeline of cross‑functional talent into Associate roles, while strengthening our employer brand.

How to Apply

  • Application will be advertised and coordinated through the career offices of our various university partners
  • Shortlisted candidates will undergo joint interviews with Human Capital and host divisions

Applications for 2026 Intake is now closed, please visit this page for updates to our 2027 intake.

Ignite your career at the intersection of asset management and technology. FUEL your part in our digital transformation and deliver real outcomes that accelerate the business—and you.
