The firm celebrates with the rollout of its refreshed brand and the launch of its inaugural sustainability project that encourages people to consume local produce.

SINGAPORE, 16 February 2023 – Fullerton Fund Management (“Fullerton”) celebrates its 20th anniversary this year with the launch of its refreshed brand. The active fund manager also took the opportunity, as part of the refreshed brand, to introduce its brand purpose which cements the firm’s identity and positioning.

Refreshed brand reflects company’s vision and ethos

The asset management industry has witnessed significant shifts in the last two decades with the rapid advancement of technology, the advent of artificial intelligence and the increased emphasis on sustainability. As the world becomes more hyperconnected and globalised, there has been a significant surge in complexity. As a result, investors need to decode complexities to navigate market challenges and unlock opportunities. This new reality is reflected in Fullerton’s brand purpose which is “managing complexities to deliver exceptional outcomes for a sustainable future”.

At the cornerstone of Fullerton’s brand refresh, is its logo, which has been redesigned in line with the refreshed brand. The refreshed logo is digitally friendly and represents all the critical aspects of the business – the people, the firm’s clients and partners, and the greater community.

“In the last two decades, Fullerton has made deep strides in growing its investment capabilities, enhancing client coverage, and expanding its capacity through intelligent technologies and agile solutions. Driven by a strong culture and focus on sustainability, we are now at the cusp of a new era, and our refreshed brand embodies the vision and ideas that will bring us forward in the next chapter of our journey”, said Ms Jenny Sofian, CEO of Fullerton Fund Management.

Introducing sustainability initiative: Local Labels, Global Flavours

Fullerton embraces ESG investing as well as corporate activities that can make a difference to society. The firm is a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and have chosen the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”) as the foundation for its sustainability strategy, both at the corporate and investment level. Fullerton is also a founding member of the Singapore Green Finance Centre and a signatory to the Climate Action 100+.

As part of its focus on sustainability, Local Labels Global Flavours aims to generate awareness of local produce in Singapore through spotlighting local food producers and their farming methods, which are helping to create a resilient food supply chain domestically.

This initiative was developed with the support of the Singapore Food Agency and is in line with Singapore’s “30 by 30” goal to build the agri-food industry’s capability and capacity to sustainably produce 30% of its nutritional needs by 2030, up from the current 10%. It draws on the variety of local produce available, and features 60 recipes across various types of produce, that has been ideated by local celebrity chefs.

“Local Labels Global Flavours is about raising awareness and supporting the locavore movement. We strongly believe in doing good and making an effort to consider the societal impact we have on the wider community. I hope this initiative will inspire behavioural change, as we journey towards a more sustainable future together,” said Ms Sofian.
